Karen Sequeira is an associate lawyer with Agro Zaffiro LLP in Hamilton, Ontario in the firm’s Real Estate and Land Development, Wills and Estate Planning, Business Law practice areas. Karen is a dual-qualified lawyer – admitted to the practice of law in both Ontario and India.

Karen grew up in Mumbai, India, where she attended the Government Law College and graduated in law in 2011. A member of the Bombay Incorporated Law Society since 2012, Karen qualified as a Solicitor following a three-year traineeship and successfully completing six qualifying examinations securing an overall second rank. Karen enjoyed a diverse career in Mumbai working as an associate in full service law firms focusing on real estate and estate planning, and also acted as in-house counsel with one of India’s largest manufacturing companies.

Karen moved to Canada in 2017. Following her relocation to Canada, she completed her equivalency exams and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2018. Karen is a member of the South Asian Bar Association and Young Women in Law. She is fluent in Hindi, Marathi, Konkani and has limited proficiency in Urdu, Punjabi and Gujarati languages.
