Windmill Microlending is a registered Canadian charity that offers up to $15,000 in low-interest microloans to help skilled immigrants and refugees achieve professional success in Canada. Windmill offers a newcomer-friendly repayment terms to help you pay your course fees and materials with NCA Tutor™, your NCA exam fees, and other costs you might incur on your pathway to practicing as a lawyer in Canada.

From the time that we receive your complete application, it takes 10-15 business days for you to receive the funds in your account if you are approved. With Windmill Microlending, you don’t have to start repaying the principal until after you complete your program (or up to 24 months), and the interest rate is RBC Prime + 1.5%.
