We congratulate Mary Simon on her appointment as Canada's 30th Governor General
Mary Simon is Canada’s 30th Governor General. She entered public service in the early 90s and was a crucial player in the Charlottetown Accord negotiations. She was also a lead negotiator in the creation of the Artic Council and also served as Canada’s ambassador to Denmark from 1999 to 2002 and Chancellor of Trent University. Simon is Canada’s first Indigenous Governor General.

There is an obvious backlog of physical mail and files to process, so please allow the NCA some time to catch up before following up regarding your assessment and/or applications.

The NCA just released exam results for constitutional law. Make sure you head straight to the NCA portal and select your exam history tab to get your results for family law or trusts.
If you need to request a certificate of qualification from the NCA, click on the “Request Certificate” tab in your portal. Fill out the form and tap “submit”. Et voila! Congratulations, you’ve completed the NCA process.

NCA Increases Exam Fees
For the second time this year, the NCA increased its fees. The cost of NCA exams is now up $50 from $350 to $400 + applicable taxes per exam. The fee increase is effective June 7, 2021.
