We talk about the 5 core subjects and the changes made to scheduling of those subjects: Canadian Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Foundations of Canadian Law, and Professional Responsibility.
We also talk about the three mandatory subjects and how the NCA has increased the frequency of the exams for the three subjects. The three mandatory subjects are Contract Law, Tort Law, and Property Law. We then discuss the changes to the optional subjects: Business Organizations, Commercial Law, Civil Procedure, Family Law, Evidence, Trust, Tax and Remedies. We also provide you with some planning tips and show you common pitfalls to avoid when selection optional subjects.
