Priya Thakkar

*NCA Tutor Campus Ambassador | University of Birmingham 2022 - 2023

Priya is a dedicated law student in her third year of study at the University of Birmingham, specializing in International Law and Globalization.

Prior to starting her LLB in the UK, she completed a bachelor's in social work with a minor Law at Carleton University in Ottawa.

Currently, Priya holds the position as Vice President of Competitions at ELSA Birmingham and will be supporting the society in hosting the 13th edition of the Helga Pedersen International Moot Competition. She is also partaking in the Oxford Intellectual Property Moot Competition as a representative of the Birmingham Law School. And is a part of the Pro bono Fraud Group.

Her experiences and involvement within the law school has helped her build a network amongst students and organizations. She looks forward to continuing in a role that aims to foster such an environment as an NCA ambassador. During her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling to explore different cultures.
